Comira is thrilled to announce the hiring of Dr. Pamela Ing in the role of Psychometrician II. Dr. Ing will join the talented Psychometric Team; contributing to Comira's best-in-class test development offerings, bringing a passion for certification testing and a commitment to superb client-centered service. Pamela earned her doctorate in quantitative psychology from Ohio State University, where she studied with Dr. Michael Edwards, who is a leading researcher in applications of item response theory (IRT). Prior to joining Comira, Pamela was the Director of Measurement Services at Professional Testing Corporation, where she provided psychometric consulting and managed test development services for a number of national and international certification boards.

Comira is pleased to announce the hire of our new Director of Business Development, Alina Cataldi Cooper.

Ms. Cooper comes to Comira/CATS having recently served as the Director of Certification with the American Culinary Federation (ACF) a member based organization with membership affiliations consisting of more than 20,000 culinarians. She was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Certification Department of over 12,540 certificants. She also facilitated the initiatives of the Certification Commission. Ms. Cooper managed and oversaw certification products, delivery operations, department's profit and loss, exam development, accreditation compliance, psychometric competency, vendor contracts/relationships, and reporting.

Prior to ACF, she managed the Business Law and Workers Compensation Sections of The Florida Bar. She was responsible for meeting planning, budgets, and continuing legal education programs as well as providing membership services. During her seven years with The Florida Bar, she gained valuable knowledge in program planning, development, marketing and communication and an appreciation for dedicated volunteer boards.

Before coming to The Florida Bar, Ms. Cooper was an Executive Director with the Leon County Unit of the American Cancer Society, where she specialized in fundraising in six counties and maintained three Boards of Directors along with patient services, income development and grassroots advocacy.

She is a graduate of Florida State University with a B.S. in Communication.
